Mia flew through the air causing people to do one of several things: fall to their knees in holy reverence, cream bloody murder or shoot her. She screeched as a bullet entered one of her wings painfully, she crumpled to the ground. Picking herself up she ran for it and noticing a public library she ran inside and hid in of all things a non-fiction section of the library.
She curled up hands on her chest and blood running down her white dress, "Please... Please make them go away." she pleaded... Who was she talking too? Who the hell knew.. But she was so damn tired of running away and hiding, avoiding capture. Chimeras had feelings too!
