A new library was built after the old one was burned to the ground. The central library holds a lot of interesting information, most of it to do with alchemy, however you need to be a State Alchemist to gain access.

Central station is huge in comparison to most train stations in Amestris. It is always busy and full of people wanting to get from one place to the other.

A cheap, grimy, run-down hotel, found somewhere in the middle of Central. It would perhaps not be the best place to stay, if you have the money to find other lodgings for the night, but if you have little money, perhaps this is the place for you.
