The Basics †» Name: Roy Meinhard †» Alias: N/A †» Age: 34 †» Gender: Male †» Siblings: N/A †» Rank: Citizen of London
Appearance †»Eye Color Dark blue, nearing black. †»Complexion: Ivory †»Height: 5'10 †»Weight: 155 lbs †»Overall: Roy Meinhard stands at only 5’10, not particularly tall, however his charismatic presence makes him appear to fill a room. He has raven black hair with mysteriously matching eyes, lending to his impressive nature. Compared to most his skin seems incredibly pale, almost ghostly though truly it’s an effect of his deeply coloured hair and deepness of his eyes. When teaching Roy dons a simple white shirt, tie of changing colour, and black sports jacket, worn over black slacks. In his off time his attire is generally dressy-casual, but to varying degrees. His looks are the envy of men and desire of women, though some women may simply be drawn by his impressive charm.
Personality Witty, charming and positively smug, are simply a few of the personality traits that would strike someone on first meeting. But, hidden behind snarky comments and the air of arrogance he also hides an extremely dedicated and intelligent man. Roy Meinhard has a profound dedication to his beliefs and job. And while he comes off as shallow on occasion his motives run very deep. He is calm in the face of danger or annoyance and confident in the face of women. He holds great value on human life. Despite all of this, his façade is rather becoming and more and more he finds himself truly becoming the smug bastard he comes off as, but knows he will never become as shallow. †»Likes: Teaching, reading, women, his children, and good whisky. †»Dislikes: Rain, idiots, casual abuse of power to a great extent. (To a lesser extent he may stand by it) †»Strengths: Intelligence/Education Military training Compassion
†»Weaknesses: His daughters The occasional drink Inability to let things go
History Early life: Born in 1891, Roy Meinhard grew up in a changing America, though, due to his parent’s social standing he was mostly insulated from the drastic changes. He and his parents lived in a suburb of the quickly growing Chicago.
As a young child he was brought up with the newest and finest of technology, the evolution of such things evading him throughout most of his childhood years. As he grew into young man he received a standard, but very good education. Though public schools were only just beginning his parents had hired tutor after tutor to ensure he was not without knowledge of history, literature, English, and mathematics. The education would do him well in later years. Teens: At the age of fifteen Roy became bored with his privileged life and, having developed an unnatural feeling of invincibility through insulation, he rebelled against society. He was in the early throes of a war-less revolution and felt inclined to become part of it in any way he could, drinking, driving without knowing a damn thing about it, he spent a great deal of time with women and gambling away his parents money. In January of 1909 Roy’s parents were killed in a train accident heading into Colorado to visit extended family. At the age of seventeen, Roy inherited his parent’s wealth, enough for him to have easily lived comfortably throughout his lifetime.
Shortly after their death, Roy was informed that a previous lover, Merlyn, had just given birth to his first child, Sabryna. In his grief and confusion, Roy attempted to make a family out of the two, his lover and his daughter. However, he finds that Merlyn and himself are incompatible, to say the least, and he leaves them just before the birth of his second daughter, Winter, with his home and access to his parents money. In late 1910 he joined the American Military, he sent letters to his family and made every attempt to still see his children, but his opportunities were few and far between.
Early Adulthood: -I’ll probably add to this later, but I need to do more research on my actual history, however, a quick rundown.
1911-1914: Basic training and further education by the military.
1914-1916: Hopping from military base to military base, rising slowly through the ranks and finding himself particularly talented with explosives.
1917-18: America officially declares war on Germany and Roy is sent with hundreds of thousands of others to the trenches.
1920: Takes leave of the military with the rank of Captain, a Faithful Service medal for ten years’ service, as well as multiple minor medals for bravery in combat. –
1920-present: After retiring from the service at a relatively young age Roy made a point of going to be with his children, he found that during war time their mother had fallen to alcohol and would hardly give his daughters a second glance, swiftly and easily, Roy spirited them away. Finally with his family, Roy left the ever-growing America for the United Kingdom. After immigrating himself and his children he put his education and credentials to work becoming a teacher in the newly improving school system of England. After four years teaching Roy applied for the position of headmaster at a middle school in London, he promptly received the job.

Roleplay Example It would be a long day, the rain had already started pounding its relentless way into the windows and the iron gray clouds definitely looked like they were planning on sticking around. Not to mention the fact that on his desk alone, not counting the mountains still on Hawkeye’s desk just waiting to be passed on to him, there were more than a hundred pages, reports, and files alike that had to be read and signed by him. Why exactly it was his job to fill out this positively meaningless drivel was beyond him. But, he supposed, nothing worth doing is ever easy. Sighing he began to roll his pen back and forth over the backs of his fingers, perfectly content to screw off for a while.
In all honesty, he hadn’t slept particularly well the previous night and no, having dragged his sorry ass into work early that morning was not helping. Unfortunately, neither was weak office coffee improving his moral. Again rolling his eyes at the work mounded upon his desk like an invidious anthill attempting to suck him in he pulled himself from his chair. No, if he was going to continue today something was going help his mood and he was certain he would find nothing of the sort locked up, alone, in his office.
