†»Overall: Winry can be thought of as petite at first glance, but if you look close she is actually fairly well muscled. She is on the shorter side of average, standing at only 5'4". She has long blond hair, a very pail shade, much lighter than the Eric’s. She usually wears it up in a high pony tail or she clips it up so it’s of her neck. She usually wears her bangs cut angled. When she is working she usually has her hair pulled back in a pink bandanna. When it comes to clothing Winry likes skirts and dresses. She usually had on a floral dress or a shot black pleated skirt with a white shirt and a black bolero jacket. When she is working though she usually wears pants and a tube top on.

Personality

Fort all that Winry has been through she is a surprisingly strong girl. She might seem like a cry baby, when it comes to Ed and Al, but she is actually very strong. She cries less and less each day, but even though it’s been two years she still cries occasionally. Anything that does not involve the Eric’s she is completely strong about. One of her favorite things to do is try to improve her automail making skills. She will even brag sometimes that she has been described at one of the most gifted young automail maker. In general she is a very joy full person, but she has a temper that can rival Edward. She is also a very loyal friend, and if she had to would probably take a bullet for her friends. The one thing that she hates is when people hurt her friends, if you hurt them you had better run for your life.

History (Optional)

Winry had a very happy life for the first nine years of her life. She was raised along with the Elric brothers, who were like her brothers, she never had the longing for a sibling because she had Ed and Al. Winry was never one to read story books, she always preferred to read her parents medical books. They always encouraged her to read them anyways. Her happy carefree childhood was brought to a close when a call came one day saying that her parents had been killed in Ishval, leaving her to the care of her grandmother, who she lived with anyway. Not too long after her Parents died Ed and Al's mom got sick and died also.

After their mom died Edward and Alphonse went off to train and become alchemists. It was only around 8 moths but she did become very lonely in that time. To occupy her time she started designing automail. When they did comeback she though it was all going to be like it had been before all the bad things had happened. But she was dead wrong.

One night they did not come home for dinner, causing her and her grandmother to worry. They waited a little longer before they heard a knock on the door. They expected it to be Ed and Al, coming back soaking wet with some story about why they missed dinner. Then the opened the door they saw a huge suit of armor holding the limp and fast bleeding out for of Edward. At first she could not tell where the blood was coming from, but on closer inspection she saw that his right arm and left leg where completely missing. It also took her a moment to realize that the armor was Al. With the instruction of her grandmother they managed to stop Edwards bleeding and save his life. One that was done she was told to look after them while Pinako when to see what had happened. When she came back she did not tell Winry what had happened, just that it had been horrible.

Shortly after that they were paid a visit by the state alchemist Roy Mustang and another soldier, Riza Hawkeye. . After that Edward requested a new arm and a leg and told them that he was going to become a state alchemist. After a year of therapy, much faster than normal, Ed and Al both left then again. Over the years that Ed was in the military she saw the Elric brothers ever so often, but most of the time it was when he needed to repair his arm When she was about sixteen she went with them to Rush valley and became the apprentice of Dominic LeCoulte.

When Edward disappeared she became very depressed for a few months, then with the help of her family she managed to stop crying over him. In that time she continued to get better at her automail skills, and still worked on making a better arm and leg for Edward if he came back. When he did come back she was ready for him, and had the arm and leg he needed on hand. She only saw him for less than a day and this time Al went with him. At that time she realized that this was probably the last time she would see him. In the two years since the Elric brothers left she had still improved her automail and worked under Dominic. She has had a few boyfriends in that time, but no one serious.

Roleplay Example

Winry had only gotten a few hours of sleep in the past few days. She had spent hours and hours working on a new design of automail for a customer. She normally would not miss sleep to work on automail, ok maybe a bit, but this one was to fun that she didn't want to miss working on it. It was a master peace if she said so herself. It was huge, but she had mastered her skills enough to make it to make it not overly heavy and it would not drag the man down. It was a beauty, instead of a hand at the end there was a drill. She did not have the specifics of what it was going to be used for, but the man was a soldier on the Western border.

Scratching her head and yawning she got up and headed to the bathroom to wash her face before she went to sleep. It was close to three in the morning so she tried to be as quiet as possible. She knew that she would also half to call the man in the morning so he could come down to get it. Splashing her face she looked at herself in the mirror. She definitely needed sleep before she collapsed. Granny would not be too happy if she did collapse. As she headed back to her room she was stopped when she heard a thumping sound outside the house. Grabbing the wrench out of her back pocket she stepped down the stairs slowly. "Whose there?" she called out timidly, holding the wrench like it was a bat, ready to use it to protect herself.

For the most part, everything looks pretty good. Aside from the spelling or grammar error here and there that I saw, it looks pretty good.

I have no...major nitpicks to mention, just a reminder that I give others when possible, dont forget to run writings through a speller and grammar processor, otherwise the people you are RPing with might not understand the point of your message ^^
