FORUM RULES Quick Guest rules [1] Please remember that you must register to be able to apply for a character on this forum. [2] Please do not sign up to the forums just so you can get a character that you want and don't like the idea of anyone else having it. General [1] Respect all members and staff. Don't say anything you wouldn't want said to you. If you are having a conflict with another member, either work it out through PM's or take it to the staff. [2] Don't spam or flame anyone. Spamming is posting a pointless, stupid message several times, and flaming is harassing or annoying someone with a rude message. [3] This is an intermediate-advanced site. Our minimum word count per post is 200 words- not that much. However, we focus more on the quality of posts than the length. If you can write twenty pages for a post, that's wonderful. If you can capture the mood and scene perfectly with 201 words, wonderful. [4] A paragraph is seven to nine sentences. We do expect decent size paragraphs. To prove you read the rules, put the word "cherry" at the end of your profile. [5] Never use chatspeak. - Don't use it IC or OOC [6] Stay active, please. We understand if you can't be on every day, but at least try to keep up on all your threads. [7] Power playing is not allowed. Taking control over someone else's character, actions, etc. is not allowed. Neither is auto-hitting, which means saying you did hit the other person's character or saying you caused an injury. Godmoding isn't allowed either, meaning dodging every attack or winning every fight. [8] If you do get in trouble, don't say you didn't know. That would only show that you didn't read the rules, which would get you in even more trouble. [9] Don't swear at members. You can swear OOC. Your characters can say anything they want IC. Just don't use offensive words directly to another members OOC. [10] If your characters are enemies, it does not mean you are. [11] Also, please tag your threads. If you don't have a specific person you want to RP with, then just put [Open]. [12] Any RP threads that have not been posted in for over a month shall be archived. If the participants wish to continue the thread, PM a Staff Member. [13] No Post Claiming. You cannot claim a spot in a thread with 'I will post later, no one post yet!' as other people may have more time and be able to post before you. Sorry, but no, if you miss it, you miss it, just post afterwards. Important Rules [1] An OC cannot automatically KNOW the Elric brothers, or any other canon character. They CAN meet through rp, but that is it, I don't want a long lost brother or sister of a character showing up. [2] Face claiming IS allowed for your OC but I'd also like to know WHO you have face claimed, just put it at the end of your application. [3] If you want your character to see the gate, then do so THROUGH RP. However, I don't want every Tom, Dick, and Harry performing human transmutation...Ed and Al will start to feel unoriginal. [4] NO gypsie-ninja-dwarfs please? -Thank you Ed XD- [5] If you have any issues obviously contact a member of staff. Staff members will be reviewing ALL applications, if you get asked to re-do something, please don't take it to heart, we're just fussy at times.
