The streets certainly were busy. He had never seen then this packed before! He could just feel himself getting lost in them, and he had been born and raised in London. A dog ran across his feet as he stopped in front of one of the busy roads. The cars were passing quickly, and they seemed to show no sign of stopping. That is, until the red light switched on in the traffic light. Then the cars all seemingly came to a complete halt as if time had been frozen on them. Just like the rest of the stuck up Brits, Tace made his way across the street with little thought of anything but school. He was almost home, but the walk to school as still an annoying venture. Why did his father had to chose such an annoying location for a house! It wasn't like he had to live there.
The thought of his fathers smirk as he left home the day before to go back to the metal working branch he just set up in France made him glower as he walked. Today was not a good day for school. He would most likely say something rude that would completely turn the class against him and get into a fight. Tace wasn't suppose to be getting into those, or skipping, but today he found the opportunity just too attractive. So he made his merry way in the opposite direction of the school. It appeared talking one self into a logical reason for doing something wrong was easier than it appeared.
Now then what to do? He couldn't go home.. No his mother would hear him and he would get caught. If he wanted to get away with this, he should stay away from downtown. His father's workers knew his face and would ask his mother why he was out and about. So, when in doubt, why not go to the Park? It wasn't as if it was a horribly boring location. There was the river there, he could buy some nuts and toss them at the ducks for a few hours. That sounded like a way to pass the time, not exactly fun but not exactly boring. The perfect plan for a lazy day.
As he walked into the park, he bought a bag of salted nut from a vendor on the side of the entrance and made his way to the river. There was a small area on a dock that over looked the river. On the dock was a bench. Boys from his school usually brought girls to this spot on dates, but no one was there right now. Almost everyone else was in school or at work. So he sat there and began to toss nuts at the ducks below in the water.
