The Basics
Name: Honoka Suzume
Alias: Lolita Rose
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Siblings: Nami Suzume, age 8
Rank: State Alchemist
Appearance
For a normal eighteen year old, Honoka is of average height and weight. She and is known to have a large torso area. Nevertheless, she has wild pink pigtailed hair that often has some of the hair strands curl inwards until the very end where it ends where it curved once and ends at a small strand and light blue eyes. She often wears gothic lolita clothes and she has pink clothes. She often wears a dark red ribbon in her hair or she wears a red, purple, or light pink rose. She often accessorizes and she is never seen without some sort of Japanese styled sort of clothing. Honoka only wears kimonos on special occasions or when she is at a party.
Personality
Honoka is a mysterious and quiet woman who rarely speaks to those she doesn’t know. Though she is often a loner and she is calm and composed. She displays of a cold personality and doesn’t care for much of anything except getting the job done. In the past, she used to be a warmer and open person, but due to an accident as a child as Honoka has closed up her heart to others. There are the rare exceptions where she speaks to actual people and cares for a few times. But most of the time, she remains silent to her opponents except to either say something before they are captured or when they are dead when they are requested to be killed.
With no mercy in her heart, the gothic lolita isn’t afraid to kill if necessary. She is somewhat heartless but she has the weakness of protecting others from the bad guys and she is afraid of fire. Honoka often goes into a child-like state when a fire that nobody can control occurs. But it does show that she has a soft side when it comes to teaching orphans how to sing, sweets, and singing. Unlike most people, she is the antisocial person in FMA until she learns how to believe for herself and others later on.
History
Honoka was born in Risembool around her loving family and was well-loved like a normal child would be. Her father was of Japanese descent while her mother was of German descent and had lived in Risembool for about two to three years. The only special thing that happened after her birth is that she was slowly (very slowly) becoming aware of the world around her. Carina Suzume had to often stay home and care for Honoka because of her father’s work of being a toymaker.
At the prompt age of four, Honoka had developed her mind to play with her mother because she often got lonely without their father at home. However she didn’t know that men were often trying to date her mother because of her father’s frequent business trips. She often sees men at the door and she would say no and shut the door and keep it locked.
When Honoka’s father, Itsuki Suzume, finally had rearranged his whole schedule so he had more time with his family, he noticed the men. Enraged and upset and thinking that his wife had betrayed him, he stormed inside and slapped her mother. Honoka however went in the middle of them and told them stop. This gave Carina a chance to explain what was happening and for them to make up.
After a while, when Honoka was a ten year old, her father and mother explained Honoka was going to be a big sister. She didn’t understand what it quite meant but she was often worried that her parents would love her little brother or sister more than her. But when Nami was born, she instantly began to like being an older sister. She often wanted to play and hold her sister because she had deep sisterly love for her little sister.
However, when she became twelve years old, somebody had set the Suzume household on fire. Honoka was trying to find her stuffed kitty cat and bunny when it occurred thus giving her nightmares about burning alive. She cried out for her parents but nobody was inside except herself and Nami. Bravely rescuing her sister, it turns out that her father had fled Risembool because of the mass fortune he had attained and somewhat left behind to his family and his wife and children were abandoned behind to suffer and her anguish with longing that her husband returned. Caring for the children, Carina had tried hard to raise her children. When news that Honoka and Nami’s father had went into war devastated all of them and Honoka had grown to hate everything that her father was and is.
At the age of fourteen, Honoka fell into a state of depression when her father did return, but not as the same man he was before. He injured his wife constantly and he revoked having Honoka and Nami at all. This left them all hurt even worse when he left. Her father had made amends as he realized his mistakes, but it was already too late for Honoka. She felt and it seemed like the gothic lolita turned to a cold and bitter person like her father was the way he acted. She often didn’t do chores, rebelled, and even wore black clothes and make up to school. Her heart had closed up to everyone else around her and even into her family the hardest because of them treating her differently.
When she turned sixteen, Honoka had learned to drive a motorcycle and a car at that age. But it still didn’t heal the scars of the past nor made the relationship between herself and her family any better. She soon desired to become a State Alchemist. This caused her to shut herself in her room often and doing homework and studying alchemy. When she finally found a way to do some earth alchemy, her parents came in and asked why she was doing these things. This made Honoka ‘accidentally’ trap them in vines. She didn’t know what to do, but she reacted and ran away, leaving everything that she grew up in behind her.
Oddly enough she still attended school but rather she was hiding away from her parents. Honoka then told herself that her parents were only holding her back and holding her chances at happiness back. But she never even blamed Nami but wrote onto a note hidden in a teddy bear for her saying to follow her heart and not their parent’s heart and told her that if she didn’t stride forward she would miss out on life.
After graduating from high school, Honoka’s first objective was to become a State Alchemist. She had pretty much studied a lot about alchemy and tested herself occasionally. This also gave her the drive to enter in the actual military so she could use her talents in her work. But she didn’t have very much friends because her mind was only on her passion to becoming what she dreamed to be. She thought of allies as trivial and useless. When she met her first partner, Chi, another female officer who aspired to become great, she started to open her heart a little.
It all changed when she had died in an accident that was not caused by a fire, but by a bomb. Honoka had officially had gone berserk and tried to save her. However it was all in vain as the ritual that could possibly save Chi’s life would be the cost of her own. Watching her friend die in her arms in the hospital had to be the most painful thing in her life, as she screamed like a part of heart, soul, and body was dying off. After that her heart went back to the sad state it was before she even met Chi. Ever since that time, Honoka had then became what she dreamed of being a State Alchemist, but she searches for the possible hopes of saving others from the fate she and Chi had suffered.

By me:… None. So far I’m a BAD artist, especially with hands. xD

Roleplay Example
Pain was all that Honoka could feel. But then again, it was because of her friend’s death. She couldn’t imagine the thought of living without her. It was regret that fueled her mind though. She could have saved her, she could have saved Chi, but the school had to come first and it was Chi’s day off… There wasn’t any physical or mental way to stop tragedy. She learned that the hard way. Her father had abandoned her mother and gone into war. It was a surprise he wasn’t dead. And it was definitely a shock that the mother of Honoka and Nami would take him back after the back-stabbing betrayal. It was stupidity. No, it was dumb in general to love that man. She saw the heartless actions of her father. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that he was cruel.
And it also didn’t surprise her that they were calling daily. No, Honoka was certain that it was just a ploy. She wasn’t going to fall for it like her mother had. And she was hoping that she wouldn’t make any mistakes just as her parents once did. But of course, it wasn’t going to be possible since everyone made mistakes. She was making instant ramen; Honoka wasn’t in the mood for making anything tonight. After all, she wasn’t the type of buying groceries and making things when she was stressed.
“Yes…” Honoka said, as she was looking at her cell phone, receiving a text from a classmate named Kasumi. “Hmmm… I wonder…”
Her old colleague Kasumi was asking if she could go and get some lunch tomorrow at the local café. Of course, she planned that she wasn’t going to respond. She never knew her very well or even cared. Honoka only helped people with homework. She was antisocial all the way and she knew it. It wasn’t like she didn’t care; she didn’t like talking to people and being around them is all. She had exceptions when it was for her job or when it was for something actually of importance. But that was in her terms indeed.
